Aspen Veterinary Service is a locally-owned-and-operated vet clinic that works closely with all the vets in Kootenai County, Spokane County and even Bonner County. Our friendly staff strives to provide the care your pet needs at reasonable rates. To ensure the quality of care your pet receives, we keep up with the latest techniques and the technology in the industry.

The only service we do not provide is care of wildlife. If you happen to find an injured animal, we are a relay station for a rehabilitation facility, which requires a phone call to the rehabilitation center before bringing the animal to our clinic.

Updated review July/2025: Took my other dog Benny here two evenings ago, it was just before closing time and we were treated so kindly by all the staff! Quick in and out and I was still blown away by how affordable my bill was! Couldn’t recommend this vet office more, 5stars ☺️ May/2025: Rowan is feeling much better after coming here! This dog mama was so thankful for them being open on a Sunday afternoon!! The cost was VERY reasonable, was very surprised by that… I expected to my bill to be significantly more

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We had a cat emergency, she had delivered kittens and we had concerns that she still had a baby that wasn’t coming out. Emergency Pet saw us immediately, made sure our cat was okay (no extra babies), gave her fluids because she was dehydrated after giving birth and we were on our way within an 30 minutes.  Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Came in on the 4th of July and was checked in and seen by the vet tech immediately. The vet was in surgery so a short wait but was notified about that ahead of time. The vet was very kind and answered my questions. We received our meds and they even gave me a little box with ice packs for the refrigerated meds because we had a two hour drive back up to Priest. If you’re in need of an Emergency Vet, this place was great!
